About Echoes of Humanity

The Story Behind Of Our Movement

Welcome to Echoes of Humanity, an organisation dedicated to supporting community members in rural areas to achieve their full potential. Our trustees have been using football and reading and writing tournaments since 2012 to facilitate community engagement and promote community cohesion. Our aim is to interact with communities to undertake developmental, health and educational activities that support groups within the communities, including children, women, schools, and the general community members. Our work is made possible thanks to the generous financial support of our trustee members, Northwest University, Torch Healthcare Services Ltd (UK), Lighthouse Professional Care Ltd (UK), and an American anonymous donor.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help community members in rural areas become self-sustaining and empowered, while also promoting environmental protection. We want all community members, regardless of gender, age, or ethnicity, to be recognised, respected, and able to contribute to their communities.

At Echoes of Humanity, we have two main committees: the Teachers’ Committee and the Community Committee. While the Community Committee has been incorporated into our professional code of conduct and Department of Education, the Teachers’ Committee cannot participate as trustees of our Trust. However, as members of the community, we continue to seek their expertise and knowledge of the communities we serve.

The project is to build a solar power station that can power a minimum of five solar electric trikes, to promote women-based transport solution.

This project will not only have significant economic impact on rural women who will help them have control of how they market their products.
